In some european countries even possession of such software is prohibited by public law. So where I live there is no legal use for key logger for any natural person. Here it is prosecuted by public law and not only by private law, so here it is prosecuted also when the 'damaged' did not open a case but it otherwise came out that someone did spy on someone.
This info can be used very restrictive, not just when some admin feels he would like to know. It is further allowed to log all connections on the gateway level, as all service providers have to do it anyway and store that information for at least 6 months. It is well allowed to block certain cervices, websites, protocols and hardware on the company network. The same way it is forbidden for companies to spy on employees as what they do write or do exactly on their computers.
KIDLOGGER ADMIN PRIVILEGES FREE
You are free to use parental lock on your computer to prevent the current user to do certain tasks, but it is very bad behavior to spy on correspondence of anybody including your children or any members of your family. What other users do is not for your eyes and if you administer such computer, you must not disclose contents or use that knowledge. You can use key logger for your own fun, to log your *own* correspondence if you have fun on that. I had to go for that purpose to special office in each country I worked on flag of registry for and sign special document that as I can see some of the text transmitted/received, I will not disclose or use the knowledge of it otherwise for the rest of my life. I used to work as telecoms operator in international traffic and it was not possible for technical reasons for me to not read other peoples text. In country where I live (see sig) you might be put into prison for that. It is not like I go out putting keyloggers on school computers i could get in deep sh** for doing stuff like that and for what? a couple of passwords for emails so its common sense just not to since everything on public computers are logged so if that network has a good admin, that script kitty(or hacker) is now in deep sh** I myself understand it is illegal to put a keylogger on a public computer or on computers other then mine in general. We arent discussing any links or were to get any and if we would, Keyloggers are perfectly legal on Home PC's for personal use.
